Latosa Concepts Terminology. The 5 attacks and zones. Syllabus 3.

I hope ya’ll are doing well. I managed to get a quick video in before we started training yesterday. This video has been a long while coming, I have promised to do it for a while now. Well, you got it now!

It’s a talking video, the last few videos have been with music instead. The five attacks described in the video are a required skill for the first grade. The drill shown here is another required skill for the first grade. The drills are designed to get you ready for the basic box system attacks/counters. The foot work covered in the beginning helps to teach a better body orientation when performing the box attacks. We’ll get into that in more depth at workshops and in class.

I’ve mentioned women’s training and equalizer a few times in last few blog entries. Once again all the counters and attacks used in women’s classes are based on what you see in this video and others. You get the “Bourne idea of it.”

The link to the old blog entry regarding equalizer is here.

I know there is EM in football (soccer for the Americans) right now. I need to know if you are going to come to the training and BBQ on Sunday. If you are going to be sitting on the sofa instead, let me know. We need to know so the logistics of buying food for salads is taken care of. Either way let me know, I’ll be eating BBQ’ed steak regardless of what you are doing.

That’s about it for today. The basic information is on the right hand side of the blog. Ya’ll have a great day.
